1. Unfortunately, I really don't have any idea why the game hangs on exit on your computer, sorry :/
Is your display resolution perhaps set to "scaled" or something similar?

2. This most likely has to do with permissions on your "~/Library/Application Support/Unity of Command ...

@brettskiii: do you perhaps have a retina display with resolution scaling set to "more space"?

@conboy323: unfortunately for you, you'll actually need a brilliant victory in Don Offensives to be able to proceed to Gallop/Star :)

When you mouse over the scenario name in the lower right corner, the tooltip is telling you what kind of victory you need to achieve - in the scenario currently ...

@conboy323: you need a decisive victory in "Little Saturn" to proceed to the next scenario ("Don Offensives").

Deleteing the last save in the campaign might help. You will lose your last scenario playthrough (Rostov), but it should restore your campaign to a proper state and allow you to proceed.
