Then I would suggest maybe putting an objective down there to give the Axis forces in the south something to do - once I crippled that one Soviet tank division, I was able to freely transfer all the motorized units to the north, because I could hold the river line with just infantry.
The units in the south are just for holding the line, or having fun with the Russians. There will be an another scenario in the south, and that was the reason to include the flank to this one.
I got it in six turns on my first try. I had fun!
What are we intended to do down in the south? I found it much easier to transfer all my mobile units from there up to the northern bridge over the Volkov and just make that my schwerpunkt.
