Your best score?

Unread postby Danielefc » Mon Feb 27, 2012 7:17 pm

I thought it would be fun to see how well (or not ;)) everybody does in conquering South-eastern Russia. As such I've decided to set up a little score-sheet here and I will update it at least a few times a week. Only two rules:

1. You are not allowed to re-load in these games since I fear that getting a perfect score will get too common then. So if a sudden rain ruines your otherwise perfect offensive: too bad!
2. If you get a perfect score you must upload a save!

So my fellow Generals: whats your best score?

PS. You can ofcourse get your score updated if you improve it

Soviet Campaign:
1. Easybreeze - 1800 (save in AAR section)
2. Danielefc - 1800 (http://www.gamefront.com/files/21462908/PS+SOV+CAM.rar)
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.
..........

German Campaign:
1. Danielefc - 2500 -
campaign.rar

2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.
...........

Hey Daniel,

I made the post sticky so it stays up. Still no perfect score for Axis Campaign reported AFAIK, only Soviet, right?

Cheers - hoping some more scores will come up soon :)

Yup - only pefect Soviet score so far. I've tried to with axis (alot  ) but specially the terek map is really really hard without specialists.

Yay - German campaign beaten. But seriously that garrison in Maikop in the Edelweiss scenario is a real b****

I don't really think that scores belong in a game like this. Scores are best kept for the likes of space invaders. ;)
It should be measured in medals, commission's and commendations, not high scores.

That would actually be an improvement. I hadn't thought of it, and love the game - but would make sense.

I started out to try and get 2500 on the German Campaign.

After many long hours, I scored 2500, but that was with about 8 reloads per scenario on average.

I assumed the condition was no prestige used at all.

I am now convinced you must be insanely good if you got 2500 without reloads or prestige use.

Even with prestige use, I am not sure I could pull off 2500.

Well for now, off to the Soviet campaign :)

Love this game.

I have finally managed full score (2500 pts) on German campaign, but not without some reloads, especially on Edelweiss and Terek. In fact, due to weather, I had main problem with Terek. The easiest was Stalingrad scenario, although I have to admit that I have used hints from more experienced players about how to proceed.

My experience is that the real killer is weather. Terek in 6 turns (brilliant victory) is pretty doable, but you need a little luck (always) AND if you get nailed by weather, forget it.
