I think that a lower price point would work best if we can sell the game through appropriately big channels (so yeah, Steam). This is still highly uncertain. I'm waiting for some final reviews to come through and then I will reapply.

Re: expansion, I'm still not sure about the format (e.g. a DLC like Panzer Corps or an expansion like Distant Worlds). I did fix up the scenario editor slightly so work on new campaign has actually already started. I hope to be making some pronouncements about it (loudly!) in say two weeks time :)

Hi UoC forum! I just heard about the game from the Gamers With Jobs podcast and am excited to play. But it's currently $30, not on Steam, and I don't see a demo. Any news?

I bought it based on the podcast at Three Moves Ahead: http://flashofsteel.com/index.php/2011/ ... f-command/
I also wrote a review: http://oneguytoomanygames.blogspot.com/ ... nd_16.html

It is a unique combination of some more advanced wargame concepts, like protecting your supplyline, along with streamlined gameplay and a UI that is very good at providing the necessary info. There were a couple UI aspects I mentioned in my review that would be nice if they were added, but still a very good game.

Well, it seems someone posted a request for UoC on the Steam forums... if you have a Steam account and agree with the idea you could do worse than support us there ;)
