I thought there must be some faster and more risky way to take Stalingrad even before turn 7, so I tried a more radical and less... realistic approach to taking the city.
And lo and behold, I actually ended up taking the city at turn 6!

The replay is a zip-file of my entrie current campaign BV-no prestige replays.
That is because when I only copy the Stalingrad campaign file into my scenario replay folder it doesn't show in the "load" menu.
That's why I had to upload the whole campaign up to this point. Don't forget to BACKUP your own campaign before you place this one into the folder.

Just before the beta of blackturn i have also a 6 turn on Stalingrad.

First i have a small retrait at the end of the first turn, the AI move forward. and the next turn a counter attack on the soviets.



This give more room and i finish on turn 6 with this.
