Colour Blind

Unread postby Jonte » Wed Jan 25, 2012 9:47 pm

I bought the game today and I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality.

I have quite a problem with one of the colour schemes however. It's impossible for me to distinguish between the suppressed and active steps dots on my characters. The dots are very small and the colours blend in with the everything else. Is there any way to mod this so the colours are more distinguishable?

Hi Jonte,

we did ask the beta testers about the colors, and one of our team members is also color blind. There were no problems with the final version, so we thought we were OK. :?

Colors for the steps (the dots you're referring to) are hardcoded unfortunately, but you can change their size and shadow to make them more prominent. I've attached the files for a 50% enlarged step with a stronger shadow. Just drop them into C:\Program Files\Unity of Command\data. Make sure you back up the original files first.

Hope this helps.
