Re: Request for option to set width of The Front Line

..... Hopefully this clarifies why we must refuse a request for an option like this. It's not a whim or anything, it's a for-real limitation of running things with such a small team. Cheers! :) If you'll indulge a request for a couple of more clarifications... This was about the smallest request fo...

Re: Request for option to set width of The Front Line

I must admit my gut feeling is against providing an option for this,... From a marketing point of view, I don't know what to make of a designer who is against providing options that customers request. I understand the resources issue, but that doesn't seem to be the reason here. Since you already h...

Ideas for fixing the Stalingrad BV problem?

Having run through the campaign, the single biggest turn off is the Brilliant Victory requirement at Stalingrad to unlock one of the subsequent scenarios. It is very discouraging to see Game 89% completed, but not to be reasonably able to complete the game. I would speculate that many gamers will ch...

Request for option to set width of The Front Line

As I play more, The Front Line is increasingly intrusive, calling too much attention to itself (especially after many hours of consecutive play ;) ). Of course, some players will like it just the way it is. So I'm thinking a setup option may be helpful. Please provide a setup option to allow the wid...

Request for toggle to remove The Front Line

The Front Line is large and dark enough to sometimes obscure the detail underneath it, for example, the small one hexside lakes in the Baku scenario.

Please provide a toggle, like the ones for supply, terrain, etc., to temporarily remove it.

Re: Race for Rostov AAR -> reinforcing feedback plz

Spooner pretty much covered all the issues (well done!). One other thing would be to remember that otherwise unsupplied units on a river can be supplied from the opposite bank (IIRC you need 4 or greater supply opposite them). Don't know if you wanted to see a possible approach to BV, so don't feel ...

Re: No move take back & no saves?

I think the requirement for brilliant victory in the campaign is quite unreasonable, since even the best players can't always guarantee a BV for a mission. On the other hand, in exchange for a BV we are letting you ride all the way into Kuibyshev in 1942 already :!: Please note that this is pretty ...

Map Graphics Requests

On my 24" 1920x1200 monitor swamps are difficult to see and hills are impossible to detect. I use the terrain icon overlay, but I would still like to be able to see these on the main map. Could the visibility of these terrain features be improved :?: Also, the front line boundary is so big and ...
