Re: Anniversary Post
You're obviously right. I need to get my ass moving on this. It's a new thing for me though, posting on our progress, especially when all I do at the moment is work on graphics issues. I've toyed with several ideas on this, but "using Hilbert curves to optimize heightmap grid rendering&...

Re: Anniversary Post
I’ll try to post at least monthly. Feel free to yell at me if I’m being lazy.
Stop being lazy!
Just joking. I love this game and stop by often to see if there's any news on a sequel, so it would be great to hear anything about what you guys are working on.

Re: Kursk-Orel singleplayer beta - UPDATED 22/1
I'd say the Soviet force attacking in the north is about right. They certainly do go through Axis infantry like a knife through butter but that makes things nice and desperate: how long can the infantry hold the line?

Re: Kursk-Orel singleplayer beta - UPDATED 22/1
Great work with this Daniel, it's a brilliant scenario. Really ingenious work with objectives and supply to ensure the Soviets attack the Orel salient in force. In my first playthrough the Soviets smashed through my lines not only on the north side of the Orel salient, but on the south too! My north...

Re: [BT] Turn of the Tide - Multiplayer scenario - Beta
This scenario looks absolutely amazing. As someone who only plays single player - and I know I'm asking a lot here, as the engine isn't designed for this - but if there's any way you can transform this, or part of this, into a single player scenario that would be fantastic. Big fan of your scenarios...

Re: Don't really like it so far
You all must be playing a completely different game than I am. First of all, I've had 5 air attacks in a row fail to even suppress one step. Second, in attacks that are estimated at 0/1, I understand that it will vary. What I expect is that it will vary equally on both sides of the equation. Instea...

Re: News?
Are there any updates as to what's next? I've posted this on Friday to twitter (@unityofcommand). Should have probably added it here as well so there, corrected ;) I think this is going to be a blast to play. There are many rivers that warp the terrain considerably, and there are a few swamps that ...

Re: [RT] Winter Solstice
I had a slightly better result with my second play through. Instead of attempting to cut off the Soviet spearhead's route of retreat north of the Oder I focused on destroying their most effective formations with some success while establishing a far more resilient line of defence in the north, occup...

Re: [RT] Winter Solstice
That was a lot of fun. I've only played through once and failed pretty spectacularly. I attacked south with armoured forces towards the north bank of the Oder, hoping to encircle the Soviet armoured spearhead, but was unable to complete the encirclement and the majority of their mechanized and armou...
