Description:

The German counterblow in Silesia against forces of the 1st Ukrainian Front, aiming to encircle and then wipe out most of the 3rd Guard Tank Army in a two-pronged pincer movement.

Army Group Centre has assembled considerable forces for a two-pronged attack against the 3rd Guards Tank Army in the Lauban area. Your ultimate objectives are to repel and severely weaken Konev's spearheads, the restoration of positions along the River Oder and the relief of fortress Breslau.
