Description:

This scenario is modeled directly on the Operation Taifun map. It seemed necessary to bring Army Group North and Army Group South into the map as well as Army Group Center.

The map requires 2500+ points so a combination of cities are required, with Moscow and Leningrad as key objectives.

    The best hope for the Russki player is an elastic defense coupled with local counter attacks when conditions are favorable-something that DID NOT happen historically. I prefer the Russki-which somewhat explains why the RKKA is doing so much better in my second run on this scenario.

    Hi! I finally got around to playing this one and....FIVE STARS! I am playing against myself so I take some time between turns to "change uniforms" as it were-but so far it's been pretty amazing. Some observations; I am leaving the Finnish forces out of this one-as was historically the case. I am only on turn 6 but it seems pretty clear that Leningrad is doomed. As the Russki player your divisions are pretty much hopelessly outmatched (except against the non German units) and it is all you can do to preserve as much of your strength as possible while being driven steadily eastwards. Make use of terrain and watch supply! JeffinMNUSA

    Don't try to play in single player, I have only tested the balance with human players
